Dead of darkest Night in silent Wood,
Heeding the calling that stirs in my blood!
Sacred space swept, circle cast clear,
Soon we start, soon You will be here!

Heart and Intent aligned as One,
Now this Rite truly has Begun!
With Badger, Owl, Fox and Hare,
This Sacred night we do now share!

Calling Dark Mother to claim mine by Right!
As Daughter of Moon and Child of the Night!
Horned One approaches, feel him near!
God and Goddess, You are Here!

Calling You Forth with all of my Might,
Witch, Lord and Lady joined on this Night!
Connection shared with all around,
Honouring You on this Sacred Ground!

Making a StandMaking a Stand?

Walking the path that calls to my soul,
Recalled again to play my Role,
Living a life rooted in the Old Ways,
Learning once more for all of my days!

Finding my way along the crooked path,
Sorting wisdom from chiff and chaff,
Living a life rooted in the Land,
Yet yearning for more, to make a stand!

The Land calls me forth to live a greener life,
Sustainable and self sufficient, with all its strife,
Earthen Sheltered I wish a home for me,
Yet without money its not to be!

Short-sighted rules of those who planned,
Keep us chained to a life that's killing the Land!
Profitable decisions rule the day,
Yet in the long

Neath Societies Veneer'Neath societies thin Christian veneer,
The Pagan Ways are still very much here!
If you seek with wide open mind,
Then you never know what you will find!
Take a closer look at much of Christianity,
You may be surprised at just what you see!
Traditions stolen for Christian Rite,
All to convince Ancestors to see their light!
Indigenous beliefs with all their wisdom,
Now lost to most, thanks to Christendom!
Im not saying it was wrong or right,
But their way is not the only light!
Many paths to enlightenment there should be,
What works for you is not always right for me!

Then for you the truth

Under the Samhain MoonThe October winds are blowing;
whistling, sweeping, growing.
It blows up as leaves fall down;
under the Samhain moon they dance around.

The flurries of orange and flashes of red;
the streaks of brown where feet once tred
on the abandoned field of harvest's past;
under the Samhain moon where the wind flies fast.

The veil now inches apart,
loved ones return with merry heart.
Ancestor's spirits from slumber awaken.

the time spirits awaken from trance,
the time of harvest's end, the time when spirits stray,

Moon Faced BeautyWhere has she gone?
my sullen beauty,
who haunted me so
through the long endless nights,
where once she taunted
with her alluring light
which shone above all
in the isolated darkness.

But no longer may we be
so alone to share in our secret
fears and whispered desires,
she no less a mystery has become
shy, perhaps pulsing with envy
that she is no longer the only
vessel of light.

with artificiality of a world
which is aglow in neon colors,
unnatural but tantalizing,
screaming they announce
themselves, boasting their trivialities
they have no secrets to hide
they conceal nothing.

Sabbat WheelEight Sabbats doth the Wheel turn through,
Before once more it begins anew!
Recurring, each day plays its part,
Before returning once more to its start!
Cycle of Seasons dancing their way,
From Winter's long Night to Summer's long Day!

Turns first the Wheel to Samhain,
When not all thats there can be seen!
The Veil twixt worlds is now so thin,
That our loved ones can come back in!
Start and End, now all the same,
Birth and death, with all their pain!
The colours that abound are hues much golder,
As the weather begins to turn much colder!

Turns the Wheel now to Yule,
Reborn again the Sun who will Rule!

The Path to EnlightenmentWhen you see the beauty in every tree
When you feel the earth breathe and grow
When you hear music in the wind
And the night can make you weep
You know you’re almost there

When forever seems like a moment
When you remember what you knew as a child

When you feel the power of the sea
When you are made speechless by the moon
When the colors of the earth seem alive

Sweet Autumn TimeAs Suns power does start to decline,
We enter now sweet Autumn Time!
Through the mists harvest moon doth shine,
Oh wow! Such a sight, how sublime!

Beauty abounds as colours change on trees,
Wonderous sight for all who sees!
Dropping now are those gold autumn leaves,
Relaxing us all, as stress it relieves!

Proud Stags do now rut in the wood,
Reliving the story where parents once stood!
Passion so strongly stirring their blood,
Their call to mate so well understood!

Geese fly south to escape the weather,
In formation, flying along all together,
As if joined by some unseen tether,
Will they return, perhaps not ever!

LunacyPoised upon the ledge
precariously balanced
on perfections edge.

How fragile the fissures
of the mind, straddling
fault lines, only a doll
with cracking skin.

When the precipice
yawns below,
where darkness awaits
the fall of a girl
who wants it all.

A frigid purity
which cannot bend
don't blame the moon
when the night begins to call,
and draws from the depths
within.

The lines of reality
begin to blur
when she starts to
see the demon inside
and it begins to claw
to the surface, breaking skin.

Dreams and nightmares
merge, her reflections
begin to laugh
the voices whisper in her head,

Lost In Your Desert DreamsToo long I have walked
within your desert
lost among the barren
wasteland which your dreams wrought.

Too many passing suns
and fingernail moons about
to fall have I been caught
within your arid landscapes
which your heart create
parched as your soul
watching the world through
cloudless eyes.

the thirsty deprived earth
of your gardens which never grow.

No person shall be judged or persecuted for his or her beliefs. These have been rights for quite a few years now. It is a Universal Right as a citizen, as a human being.

You're Baptist? No problem. You are accepted.

Catholic? Come on in. We welcome you.

Lutheran? You are a wonderful person.

You're Islamic? Ok, we can tolerate that.

You're a Mormon? Great to meet you.

You're a Pagan? But...you're a heathen. Go dance naked around a fire somewhere else. We don't want your kind here. Oh, do get out of my house. I don't want a demon in here around my family.

I am the Goddess, Feminine Divine,
Crone, Mother, Maiden, faces sublime!
I am the Mother from whom all flows,
I am the womb in which all grows!
I am the Maiden at days dawning,
Without Me, there is nothing!
I am the inspiration that brings change,
I am the Muse that to none seems strange!
I am the Crone at life's bitter end,
To heal and break, to shape and mend!
Worship Me in all My glory and might,
Take comfort from Me in the night!
Feel My warm and dark embrace,
Welcoming all to My sacred space!
Take Power if needed to set you Free,
But never ignore or abandon Me!

I am the God, Masculine Divine,
Sage, Lover, Child, all do shine!
I am He who sets the Seed,
Providing hope, fulfilling a Need!
I am the Hunter, the companion, the Lover,
Without Me, lies barren the Mother!
I am He that the hunt does lead,
Hunter and hunted, All to feed!
I am the God of green places,
All of natures sacred spaces!
I am the sun child who is new born,
And then is cut down with the Corn!
I am He who dies so life can continue,

Inspired by 2 messages received synchronously whilst at the Chalice Well Gardens, in Glastonbury at Samhain!

The original messages are

'I am the Mother, from whom all that exists flows, for without Me there is nothing, Fear me for I am the destroyer, Love Me for I am the provider, I nourish and nurture, I bring change and growth but also death and decay! Worship Me in all My Glory and Might, Cower before My awesome power, Take comfort in My dark embrace, Draw Power from Me when you have a need, but never ignore Me!'

'I am the Horned One, I plant the seed from which all grows, for without me the Mother is barren and life cannot exist! I am the Hunter, the protector and the Horned One of the Forests and green places, I am He who is cut down so that all life may continue!'

This then suggested the chance of making a poem from the messages, I am not sure yet whether I have truly done the Old Ones the honour they deserve with this poem, please feed back if you feel it can be improved (and any suggestions are welcomed)
